Laptop Netbook Reliability Study

I have to agree with the study I posted a link to in that I get a lot of HP/Compaq in for repair due to hardware failure and I usually tell people who are the market for new laptops to avoid HP and usually recommend Toshiba but one thing that did shock me was that the IBM Lenovo had a high failure rate IBM laptops over the years have usually been pretty well built.

everything HP makes is crap not just the laptops

I think that laptops in general will always have issues due to design flaws and misuse I did notice that the Panasonic Tuffbook was not on the list I wonder how they stack up considering the commercial grade of them.

i would think the toughbook is the best that's what the military uses and the price on them is still like $2500
