Laptop Hard Drive Speeds Empty

I don't understand why most all laptops still only have 5400 RPM hard drives why aren't 7200 RPM hard drives standard we don't use 5400 RPM desktop drives why would we want one in our laptop? a lot of laptop drives are 4200 RPM where is the sense in this the cost difference is like $10-$12 so why not do away with all slower drives I want a 10,000 RPM laptop drive.
