there is talk the next Windows version 8 will be 128 bit and that Windows 7 will be the last OS to be available in 32 bit

The only problem is there are still many security applications trying to fully support the 64 bit architecture but we have came a long way as far as driver support goes it used to be finding 64 bit drivers was like finding a needle in a haystack

These days I see x64 applications/plugins for Browsers as the major issues more so than drivers or security applications.

flash was a big issue in 64 bit browsers but there is a working flash plugin now
