i have tried several firmwares for my Linksys routers but DD-WRT is my favorite Linksys custom firmware it offers a lot of improvement over the stock firmware that Cisco uses plus they have firmware for more than just Linksys equipment which is cool...

I have considered changing my firmware to this (they have one for my router), but have not done so at this time. I am getting good performance with my updated MFG firmware.

trust me DD-WRT is much better than any stock firmware you can even up wireless output power with custom firmware.
