On Friday I had one of two 19" LG Flatron's I bought for my dual screen setup all of a sudden die.
So I look for my receipt and see I bought them in May 2007 and that's over a year but I could not find any manuals to check the warranty.
So I double check LG's website and low and behold what do I see it's got a three year warranty holly cow I didn't even ask when i bought them just grabbed two!
So I call them up to see about an RMA and I get the usual automated menu press this press that and after a few minutes it actually rings and about on the second ring an english speaking person whom I can perfectly understand answerers the phone I was so shocked i actually said to the guy holly cow a live person who speaks english I didn't expect that and my wife starts laughing!
So anyway long story short the guy was really nice and very helpfull he e-mailed me a prepaid return label right away and said box it up and get it to us and we'll ship your replacement right away.
So I figured I would post about my experience here for other folks to get an idea what companies are good to deal with because just recently i had a not so nice experience with Magnavox/Funai but that's another story I will post that separate.
