    I downloaded androidx86 from the below link to try on my netbook it was a cool experiment I booted from a USB flash drive into Android in mere seconds and in just a minute or two was online via built in wireless.

    I tried out the browser which has an on screen keyboard that I did not like having to use it made searching the net kinda hard I also did not see a back browser button so I gave up messing with it but this could be a viable netbook OS with some more tweaking.
